How i can crack cds iam not a brilliant student...please tell me how to do it

i am an average student and i always work hard to crack cds exam but in the examination centre i become nervous and forget every thing. How can i handle my nervousness during examination?

CDS is the Combined defense services examinations.It is one of the examinations conducted by UPSC twice every year other than NDA which provides you opportunity to serve in different academies in defense.

>>Bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification required in order to be eligible for this exam.The age limit is 19-25 years.

But to crack CDS is not an easy task.First of all ,I would suggest you to analyse the paper pattern of the CDS exam and different stages:

From the given pattern ,you can see that the entrance exam consists of questions from english,general knowledge and elementary mathematics.

So you will have to command over all these subjects according to the UPSC CDS exam syllabus.

For general knowledge try to read newspapers,watch standard news channels and read different types of monthly magazines.You can go for the books of arihant and Upkars publication for CDS exam.

Go through all previous year question papers of last ten year so that you can analyse that what type of questions are generally asked in examinations.

After clearing written test ,you will have to give Service selection board,for this I would suggest you to join some of the best coaching institutes for SSB like Minerva academy,Disha classes,Baalnoi academy,Cavalier India as these institutes are run by officers who has retired from defense and have idea about how to clear the different stages of SSB.

Note: Friend,there is no alternative of hard labour ,so always try to give your level best along full determination and concentration toward your goal then only you can achieve success in this exam.
