JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. JEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. JEE Main score is used for taking admission in engineering colleges like NITs, IIITs and other government engineering colleges. You can not take admission in IIT on basis of JEE Main score.
Candidates who clear JEE Main are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced score is used for taking admission in IITs. For JEE Advanced, minimum of 75% marks in board exam is required. You must clear JEE Advanced with good rank if you want to get admission in IIT Madras for marine engineering. |
