i am final year diploma (Mechanical engg.) student ... How i get job in indian navy ?

Yes, you can join in Navy after completion of diploma in mechanical engineering.

For that you have to appear in NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year.

As you are in final year of diploma in mechanical engineering then you can apply for NDA exam.

1. Permanent Commission

Through CDSE Naval Academy, Goa

Qualifications :

B.Sc with Physics and Maths or BE

Age: 19-22 years.

Through Direct Entry Naval Armament Inspection Cadre

Qualifications: BE or PG degree in Electronics or Physics.

Age: 19-25 years

2. Short Service Commission (Men and Women)

Through Law Cadre:

Qualifications: Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks.

Age: 22-27 years.

final year students also eligible for the Mechanical engineering.

With Diploma qualification,you will not eligible for any Defense Service.To eligible for Defense service exam,then you should have graduation degree.After complete the graduation degree then you can appear for CDS exam,so if you qualify in this exam,then you will get job in Defense Service.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility for CDS examination:

Educational Qualifications:
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age:
For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years For Officers Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years
