I have completed my B.E in Computer Science Engineering with 65%.I like to work as custom
officer in airport/harbour.what is the eligibility criteria to join.

Hi,

To become Customer Officer you have to appear in SSC Short Service Commission which is conducted (Combined Graduate Level ) Examination.

This Examination is held every Once in a year.

This Examination is divided into three stages namely, Preliminary Examination , Main Examination , Interview.

:Eligibility Criteria Required for Custom Officer::


Educational Qualification :-

Aspirant should be Complete Bachelors Degree Course in any discipline from recognized university

Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .. No Minimum Percentage is required in Bachelors Degree..

Age Criteria :-

Aspirant age should be Minimum 18 years Maximum 27 years and Upper age relaxation will applicable 3 years for OBC candidates 5 yearsfor SC/ST candidates

The Notification for this Entrance Examination published in Employment news paper and Official website of SSC (Short Service Commission)

For one to be able to join the Airport as a customs officer he/she must give the Civil Services exam conducted by UPSC.
You should also fulfill the following:
1.Be atleast 19 years old.
2.Have a bachelors degree.
3.Get atleast 55% + in the bachelors degree.
4.Have not committed a crime.
5.Have not taken drugs.
