dear,

To join indian army jobs you have to give NDA exam

UPSC conduct this exam twice every year

NDA provide you following posts:

army

navy

air force

eligibility:

you have to pass 12th class

age between 17 to 19 yrs

present in 12th class can also apply

exam procedure:

written exam

interview

physical test

written paper consist of 2 papers paper 1 consist of maths and second one consist english and general aptitude

Hi,

You can join Indian Defence in two ways -

1. after intermediate by giving NDA
2. after graduation by giving CDS

And the there is age limit for both the exams.

Now as per your first question - You cannot join or apply for these exams with diploma.

Infact you should have a degree for that.

Second question - Yes, you can give the exam after B.E., as it is a degree course.

Your third question is about the procedure to join Indan defence.

As I said, you can join either by giving NDA or CDS exam.

But, if you have crossed 19 years of age, then you are not eligible for NDA exam.

CDS - Combined Defence Services.

It is conducted by UPSC.

CDS exam is conducted for joining -

Indian Military Academy
Naval Academy
Officer's Training Academy
Air Force academy

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam are -

You should have done graduation from a recognised university.

Age --

For IMA - 19 years - 24 years
For Naval academy- 19years - 22years
For Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 years
For Air force academy - 19 years - 23 years.

Syllabus of CDS exam –

General English
General knowledge
Elementary Maths

Stages of the exam -

There are three stages -

Written exam
SSB Interview
Medical examination.
