i have passed 12th and got 61%
how i can join merchant navy ???
sir plz give my answerin details....

educational qualification for merchant navy is :

1.minimum should be 12th pass with physics, chemistry and maths
2.will also have to pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms
3.eyesight sould be 6/6 with no colour blindness

students having only class 12th degree join as a deck cadet and students with graduation degree join as engine cadet,


cadets are required to go for a 9months sea training ,

navy requires personnel with strong innerself and tough physical form

engineers need to be skilled and resourceful
and must know how to work on different machines
