i am the student of 12 commerce how to join nda..Please tel me the detais

You can join to NDA by qualifying the selection test conducted by UPSC. You must be an unmarried male candidate to attend the selection process. Your age must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. After NDA, you can join to army. Those having studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects in HSC are only eligible to join any of the 3 wings.

You can join NDA after appearing the NDA exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligibility is given below.

1) Nationality- Indian or subject of nepal or bhutan.

2)Qualification- For Indian Army- 10+2 from any recognised university.
For Airforce and Naval- 10+2 with PCM as their subjects.

3)Age- Must be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

4)Marital Status- no

Only applicable for male candidates only.

Last date of submission- 20 JAN 2014

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

This exam is conducted for those students having great interest in Indian Defense Service by Union Public Service Commission twice time in Year.....

To join National Defense Academy after passing 12th exam , You have to crack this examination...



NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

yes off course you are eligible for NDA exam after completing 12th std in commerce stream but only Indian Army post....


Eligibility and criteria for National Defense Academy exam :-


A candidate must have completed their 12th science with PCM from recognized Board are eligible for All wing exam in NDA exam...

But

Commerce , arts and medical stream students are eligible for only Army post...

Final year 12th std. students also eligible for this exam....

There is no any percentages criteria...

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. No any Age Relaxation for Reserved category....

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it. girls are not eligible for it...

A Candidate have nationality of INDIA...


Exam Pattern :-

1. Written Exam,

2. SSB Interview and

3. Medical Test

Physical eligibility :-

Examination fee is 50 /- , the candidate have to pay the fees through the following ways :- Internet banking , Visa / Master / Debit / Credit card , SBI Branches . There is no fee for SC/ST candidates...

After passing 12th Commerce you are only eligible to apply for Indian Army of through cracking NDA entrance exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is cnducted by UPSC two times every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Eligibility for NDA:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National.
-Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or passed in any stream from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

The candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th, is eligible to apply for all the three wings of NDA.
