What is the reservation seats available for SC/ST candidates for applying government jobs? Can someone please provide me the complete details on the same? What type of government job will be easy to get with the reservations?

As per the government of India the maximum reservation for reserved category candidates in jobs and admission in institution do not exceeds more than 50%.

SC stands for Scheduled Caste where as ST stands for Scheduled tribes. There are socially and economically depressed class and hence they enjoy the provision of reservation in various government sector or private public sector jobs or various competitive examination. They are also provided with the facilities of age relaxation or marks relaxation in the cutoff various competitive examination for their better upliftment.

As per the government norms, 15% seats are reserved for SC category and 7.5% are reserved for ST category. Also 27% seats are being reserved for OBC ( Other Backward Class ) category in various government jobs or competitive examination.
