my teacher told me that icse prelim papers of other schools are very hard to solve but if i am able to solve them i can score very good marks.

do they really help in exams?

Dear Friend,
There is nothing in the world which is hard to achieve just the thing which make hard is your thinking in fact you are the student who belongs to the ICSE Board which is one of the top level Board as the name suggest International Board.
So,Don't take much tension and don't be worried just try to prepare your Basics and then the Advance Syllabus and believe in your self,Your Confidence and Your God and I am sure you will be the student who ranks Top.

And,Yes teacher always give such comments as student don't prepared up if they are being told that its easy,they start preparing when they are told that its very hard and Complicated.

And,Practice always makes man perfect so try to practice lots of things in order to be perfect.
