How can some one become a custom duty member...pleas tell me

If you want to join the custom service you have to appear and qualify for Civil Service examination.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that :

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category.

You have to appear and qualify for all three stages of examination for final selection.

To join Custom service you have to appear and qualify in one of the toughest examination.

UPSC conducts Civil Service examination. It is conducted every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is :

So, if you have the required qualification you can appear for examination and after qualifying for it will become eligible for recruitment as an officer in custom department.
