Aeronautical engineering involves the design, construction and science of airplanes and space vehicles and uses computer technology in the design space extensively.
Aeronautical engineering is a branch of aerospace engineering and encompasses aircraft design, construction and testing of aircraft, missiles and spacecrafts. Aeronautical engineering uses the science of propulsion and aerodynamics. It is a good decision that you have taken about your career. The aeronautical engineers will have a great future ahead. The only thing is that you should have interest in the subject and should have a minimum knowledge on the course. Firstly to join into this course, you need to get through an entrance examination held by the respective universities. Re: How to do Aeronautical Engineering after passing 12th? Should I join it?
Of course you can join Aeronautical Engineering. It has good scope and therefore if you are really interested in the course, please do apply. Aeronautical Engineering deals with flying objects that remains within the atmosphere of the earth.
Which means that Aeronautical Engineering deals with design and maintanence of commercial aircrafts, helicopters, fighter jets etc. The procedure to apply for Aeronautical Engineering is same as any other branch of the Engineering. You will have to appear for entrance exam since you have completed 12th standard. There are various entrance exams for Engineering admission like: AIEEE ISEET IIT-JEE Guj-CET UPSEE VITEEE BITSAT From 2013 onwards, AIEEE and IIT-JEE the 2 big entrance exams were replaced by the ISEET. Therefore to apply for admission in good government colleges, you will have to appear for the ISEET entrance exam. Even some states have scrapped their entrance exams and replaced it with ISEET. For example Maharashtra is no longer going to conduct MHA-CET for Engineering colleges. Instead the admission will be given through ISEET entrance exam. Students from Maharashtra will be given 2 ranks. One for the All India level and other for the state level. ISEET Eligibility 1. You should have completed 12th. 2. Subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Maths to apply for Engineering. 3. At least 40 percent marks in 12th. |
