HR is a wonderful specialisation in MBA. It stands for Human Resource management and is one of the areas of business. It deals with talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, attrition management, etc. If you have already studied your Masters in Business Administration it is a very good qualification to be placed with.

Since you have not mentioned the MBA College you have graduated from, it is difficult to understand whether or not your college provides placements and assistance. However, here are a few points that would help you get some good job with a respectable profile.

I would not really vouch for the fact that you should look for jobs only near your home town. It is always good to go out and work in locations you have not explored before. This way you would get much exposure and meet new people, do networking etc.

If you are already done with your MBA, it is expected that you get job on the campus. If not, then you would better be looking for jobs on the portals such as timesjobs, naukri, monster, shine etc. These are india's best job portals and there is always a high chance of finding jobs on these websites. Furthermore, you can also make a linkedin profile for yourself and update it nicely with all your professional details.

Also note that sometimes being a fresher might get you in some tough situations in getting a job. A fresher has no experience and is only good to learn and get trained. Thus, learning more and at rapid pace should be your key to success post your MBA life.

Getting a job is not the most difficult part. But doing justice to it is. Thus, look for a job in the field that you love working in and enjoy the rest work years of your life.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
