In order to get job in the core electrical companies you have two options :

1.If your college or institutes have the on campus facility then you can apply for different electrical companies which visit your college for placement activities .

2.The second option is that you can go for the off campus placement if your college do not have the on campus facility .

You can apply for the different vacancies when the notifications for them are released by the different companies.

The basic procedure for getting job in core companies is same :

>>First you will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria that is minimum of 65% throughout in bachelor's degree without any backlogs .60% in 10th and 12th.

There are three stages of recruitment:

>>Screening test

>>Group Discussion

>>Personal interview

Eligibility may be different for different companies

However if you are interested in working public sector undertakings then you need to clear the GATE exam with good rank .

Because of the fact that public sector shortlists the candidates on the basis of GATE score card then group discussion and personal interview for final recruitment.

Some of the public sector undertakings are : NTPC,BHEL,SAIL,GAIL,IOCL,ONGC,DRDO etc.
