in how many ways i can go in to these different departments....

CBI conducts exam for agent post, which plays significant role in any investigation department.
Exams has over in february month, you can try for next year.application brouchers are released in the month of october in every year.
Although i'll inform you with exam pattern-
paper 1st (general test)
*general intelligence and reasoning-50 marks
*general awareness-75
*numerical ability-75
Total=200 marks
duration-2 hrs.

Paper 2nd (english language)
*language comprehension, communication/writing=200 marks
duration -2 hrs.

Physical Ability test.

CBI : Central Bureau of Investigation

CID : Crime Investigation Department

ACB : Anti Corruption Bureau

One more thing which you forgot to include is RAW

all these four comes under Intelligence services there are various ways to enter to these intelligence services

In this Intelligence services one more speciality is that each every post in this department will have separate procedure to recruit.

for CBI and RAW examination like SSC is helpful after writing this examination a candidate is decided where should he be sent

and some IPS officer after gaining good experience also are into these intelligence services only if they can prove their talent in their work

in this way there are different ways to enter into these Intelligence services
