Dear friend,

Yes you can join Indian Army after class 12th or after completing Graduation.

If you want to join army after class 12th then you can apply for the NDA examination.The eligibility criteria for the NDA examination is that the candidate must be a class 12th passed and the age of the candidate must be between 16.5to 19 years.
If you want to join army after graduation then you can appear in the CDS examination.The eligibility criteria for the CDS examination is that the candidate must be a graduate and age of the candidate must be less than 24 years.
Both NDA and CDS examination are conducted by the UPSC.For more information you can log on to the official website of the UPSC.

After 12th, for apply in Indian army,you can apply through NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] examination.
for apply in this examination, you must have at least 12th degree from a recognized board.
the age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.
there is not the nay kind of age relaxations is applicable for any reserved category.
also you must have INDIAN citizenship with marital status unmarried.


After graduation, you can apply in Indian army , through COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE EXAMINATION [CDSE],
the age limit for this examination , for apply in IMA [Indian military academy] is 19-25years.
Also, you must posses Indian citizenship & having marital status UNMARRIED.
Both of the examinations are conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC]

after +2 only science stream students can apply for army exam, other after graduate .
this one of the example , how other post are given for recruitment.



the age limit for +2 candidates should be 16.5 to 19 yrs.

After completion of 12th you can apply for Indian Army through NDA exam..

Eligibility for Army wing:-

1.candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade from a recognized central/state education board.

2.Candidate have to secure 60% aggregate in 12th..

3.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

After completion of BA course you can apply for Indian Army through CDS exam..

Eligibility for CDS exam:-

1.candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidate have to secure 60% aggregate through out the career..

3.The age should be in between 19-24 years.
