i am passed 12th class in PCM group with 60% and i know about joining the iaf?

To join IAF, attend UPSC NDA exam. 16.5 years is the minimum age so as to attend this exam. Higher age limit is 19 years. Also an unmarried male candidate will be able to apply for the same. Qualify the written test which will focus on subjects covered in 12th class level. It is important to clear written exam in order to attend a physical test and personal interview as well.

You can join the IAF either by Giving the NDA examination or after the completion of your graduation. The basic requirement for joining NDA is 10+2 with physics and mathematics.

You can also join IAF after the completion of your graduation(b.sc or b.tech). Then you can appear for CDS or the AFCAT examination and prepare for the SSBs well.

You can Indian Air force through NDA Examination . NDA Means National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC two times in a year and it is called as NDA I and NDA II .

NDA I Examination will be held in the month of April and the notification will be available in the month of December or January in the official website . NDA II Examination will be held in the month of August and the notification will be available in the month of May or June in the official website .

Eligibility Criteria ::

-->> The aspirant must be Intermediate with Physics and mathematics as subjects from a recognized School or equivalent qualification OR appearing in the final year of 12th exam may also eligible to apply for this examination .

-->> The aspirant must have a minimum age of 16.5 years and must not have maximum age of 19 years at the time of appearing and there is no upper age limits applicable .

-->> The aspirant must be Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination . Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination .

Yes ofcourse you can join Indian Air Force after Passing 12th.


To get entry into Air Force after 12th you have to go through the NDA Examination conducted by UPSC specifically for Airforce entry scheme.

Else you can also get entry into the Air force after graduation for which you have to face the CDS examination.

There are also other ways through which you can get entry into Air force like:- AFCAT – Air Force Common Admission Test & NCC entry

If you are an Air Sqn NCC Senior division ‘C’ certificate holder then you can apply through DG NCC/ respective NCC Air Squadron
Then you would have to appear for AFCAT.

ELIGIBILITY:

Qualification:- You must have passed 12th with Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics subjects from recognized Board (for NDA).
you must be a graduate in any stream

Age NDA(Air Force):You Should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.No reservation for Age in any category.

Sex & Martial Status NDA(Air Force): You should be an Unmarried Male candidate.

Nationality NDA(Air Force):You must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,


Height & Weight required for NDA(Air Force): Males- minimum 152 cms height & weight minimum 46kg

Visual Stadard required for NDA(Air Force): 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia. Manifest Hypermetropia must not exceed +2.0D Sph, Myopia – Nil and Astigmatism +0.75 D Cyl (within +2.0 D – Max).
Near Vision N-5 each eye.

Selection Criteria for NDA includes Written Test
SSB Interview
Medical Test

In order to join IAF(Indian Air-Force) after passing 10+2,you will have to appear in NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam.

The Eligibility you will have to fulfilled are :-

Question pattern for Preliminary Exam :-

>>It will include questions from 2 sections :- General section and subjective section.

Yeah you are eligible for Indian Airforce after completion of 12th standard PCM subjects.

Percentage is not important to apply for this exam.

To join in Indian Airforce you need to apply NDA exam, this exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

Candidate should be a citizen of india.

Candidate must be physically fit.

The age limits to apply this exam are 16.5 years to 19 years.

I am happy to inform you that after passing 12th with Physics, chemistry and Maths you are eligible for Indian Air force.

For Joining Indian Air Force you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.,

You have to qualify three stage:-
> Written
> Medical
> Interview

You can join Indian Air Force through NDA entrance exam after 12th with PCM, there is no percentage of marks criteria for application to NDA.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Air Force, must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.
