name-brahmjeet age 18 years and i want to join IAF is i am able for this or not

Indian Air Force can be joined basically in two ways NDA & AFCAT at the age of 18 years provided other eligibility criteria must be fulfilled.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Tobe eligible to join Indian Air Force one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. He should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies. He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

AFCAT - AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by UPSC every year for an entry in to Flying branch, Technical branch and Ground Duty branch.

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having completed 12th or Graduation with 60% marks from a recognised Board or University within the age of 19 to 23 years for Flying branch, 18 to 28 years for Technical branch and 20 to 23 years for Ground Duty branch.

Both the entrance exam is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Yes you can join the IAF since you are 18 years old. You will have to apply through the NDA scheme. You will need to be a 12th pass out to apply. Also for this stream you should have studied Maths and Physics in 12th standard. You need to take the exam before you turn 19 years.
