Being a commerce graduate, you may write combined defense service exam, in order to join Indian Army. The examination is conducted by union public service commission often referred as UPSC. Candidates who qualifies the written examination, physical test and Interview, are considered for admission in the Indian Military Academy for further training and after successful completion of the training period, candidates are appointed as officers in the Indian Army.
The minimum eligible age to apply for the exam is 19 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years.
This examination is conducted two times a year and for updates regarding the exam, refer to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

Hey friend,

To join in Indian Army which is a defence force after completing B.Com which is a UG course is a good option and for which you need to write the entrance exams.

Entrance exam which can be Written:

>> CDS(Combined Defence Service)

>> NCC Special Entry Scheme

>> UES (University Entry Scheme)


There are criteria's which you need to satisfy as like other entrance exams in order to apply for them

Eligibility for CDS:

> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate

> Age limit for the CDS Exam is that the candidate must have 19-24 years of age.

> Education qualification for the CDS Exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

> Final year candidates can also apply for this exam

> Candidate should be physically fit according to the physical standard.


Eligibility for NCC Special Entry Scheme:

> Candidate should be a citizen of India.

> Candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried/married man.

> Age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 19-25 years of age.

> Education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate.Even final year candidates can apply for the exam


Eligibility for UES :

> Candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India

> Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for the UES Exam.

> The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 19-25 years of age.

> The education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university.Even final year candidates can apply for the exam


If you satisfy the criteria's for the respected exam then you can apply for that exam.

2.) after graduation from a recognized university.
You should have a degree from recognized university
you have to apply and crack CDS (Combined Defense Service) examination conducted by UPSC

After you clear out the CDS exam you will be called for SSB/SSC camp which of duration of 8 to 12 days


Here in camp you have to clear some more examinations like
1.) screening test which includes aptitude test
2.)Group test, here a group of candidates are given some task to complete
3.)story writing
4.)Intelligence test
5.)Group discussions
6.)Interview ETC
When clear these you will under go medical test, after clearing medical test you will selected on all India merit



age limit is 20yrs to 25 yrs

There is no relaxation in upper age limit at all for the candidates of any category.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam.

Since you are a student of B.Com, you have to appear Combined defence Service Examination to join Indian Army. You can also join through UES(University Entry Scheme) , in the final year. The age limit is 19-24 yrs.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service

If you need to write these exams then you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for these exams.

NDA and CDS exam are being conducted by UPSC every year.


Eligibility for NDA:

>> Candidate must be a citizen of India.

>> Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

>> Candidate must strictly be a unmarried male candidates.

>> Regarding the education qualification for the NDA Exam you need to have completed +2 from a recognzied board of school education with a fair percentage.

>> Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam.

Eligibility for CDS:

For the physical criteria of the Indian army:

1. Your height should be minimum 166 cm.
2. You should have to run minimum 1.6 km in a given specified time.
3. You should have to done pushups.
4. You should have to done high jump ( as usually 4 feets).
5. You should have to done long jump ( as usually 13 feets).
6. Your eye sight vision is 6/6 for better eye.
7. Your weight should be 50 kg at minimum.
8. Your chest should be 77 cm and expansion should be 5 cm.

apply for the logistic officer post in indian
army,navy and air force. there will be a interview
for it... In order to join the Indian Army , you need to have the following eligibilities:- -> 10+2 pass candidates with physics ,
chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60%
marks. -> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for
it. -> Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with
no relaxation. Physical standards required for india'n army are
as follows- Height should be at least 157.5 cms & 162.5cms
for Air Force wing. Chest should be fully expanded. The fully
expanded chest should not be less than 81cms. There should not be any disease of bones or
joints of the body. should not be overweight or under weight. He
should not have weakly constitution. Your vision in one eye must be perfect - 6/6
eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an
imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to
