my name is aman singh
i want to join indian army. I am in 11 class with commerce side. Please advice how can i join the army.

You are not yet eligible to join the army. You need to complete 12th first. You can apply through the NDA scheme. But you should be over 16 1/2 years and less than 19 years old. You can start preparing for the entrance exam now. All details regarding the same is there in the NDA and UPSC site.

You can not join INDIAN ARMY after passing 11th standard.YOU have to pass 12t standard to sit in the examination which will help to get into this.
That is NDA.

Criteria :

a)You should pass 12th standard in any discipline
b)Age should be minimum 18 years to 28 years
c)The candidate must be UNMARRIED

Eligibility to join Indian Army

You can join the Indian Army but firstly you have to pass your 12th boards..then you can appear for the NDA exam (National Defense Academy)

NDA exam takes place twice a year in April and August and the minimum qualifications required to appear in the exam are :-

1) you should be a 12th pass-out in any stream for joining the Indian Army

2) you should within the age limit of 16.5 - 19 years

Apart from these..you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

You have to first clear the written exam then the interview and then the medical examination..

Its great opportunity to you to serve for your own country,if you have the caliber you must join the Indian Army.

As you have not yet completed your graduation level,you have to complete it ,then you can apply for then you can get chance to take admission in Indian Army.

There are some selection procedure such as:
Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)


According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

Age Limit:

i)For IMA:19-24 Years
ii)For OTA:19-23 Years
iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years
iv)For AFA :19-25 Years


They select the students through the
i) Written Test
ii)Intelligence & Personality test
iii)Medical test.

Exam Pattern
i) Written Test

for IMA / Naval Academy / AFA
All the three papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
Elementary Mathematics
total 300 marks,each paper 100 marks.

for OTA
All the two papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
total 200 marks,each paper of 100 marks.

ii)Intelligence & Personality test :Generally here checks the Personality of the candidate,GD,group planning, physical fitness test, interview, small lectures on general issues & psychological tests. etc...

iii)Medical test.
After getting selected in interview ,the candidates are called for medical examination which is conducted by Military Hospitals.

Pre-Commission training After getting final selected the candidates are called for Training.

After passing 11th, you will not be able to join in Indian Army..

For that you have to first complete your 12th..After that you have to appear in NDA exam..
If you qualify in NDA exam, then you will get a chance to join in Indian Army.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Indian Army wing:-
1.The candidate must have complete the 12th from a recognized central/state board.
2.The candidate must have 60% aggregate in 12th.

Age eligibility:-
The age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

So, you can go for the exam..
After qualifying in the exam you have to go through the SSB interview..
If you able to crack the interview then you will get a chance to join in Army wing..

No you are not eligible to apply for the Indian Army after the 11th class.
You can apply for the Indian Amry as an officer after the completion of your 10+2 through National Defence Academy examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

Hi.

To join the Indian Army you have to appear for an All India examination i.e NDA.
NDA stands for National Defense Academy. This is conducted by the UPSC every year to recruit candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings.

Now there are certain eligibility conditions which need to me met by the candidates. I am listing them as follows :

1. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.

2. They must have cleared their 10+2 from a recognized university school or board, securing a minimum 50% marks in it.

3. Age of the candidates should lie between 16.5 to 19 years.

4. Maths is a compulsory to have studied in 12th for the candidates who wish to apply for Air Force and Naval wings.

NDA authorities are very particular about all their criteria's. Anybody failing to meet them, wouldn't be entertained.

So for now, you have to clear your 11th and 12th first, and then in the board appearing year you can apply for the NDA 1 exam.

On clearing this, you would get a call for an SSB interview, and a physical test. The physical test again is of very strict standards, and you have to be totally fir in their terms to be a part of the Indian Defense.

So start your preparations, and do well.

hi,
After 11th you can join army as a solider. If you want to become an army officer you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

For joing the Indian Army there will be an entrance known as NDA(National Defence Academy). It is conducted by UPSC every year. The educational qualification for NDA is 10 2. The age limit is 18-21 years. You are not eligible for the exam since you are in 11th standard. To write the exam you must have to pass 12th standard.

Dear, You can't join Indian Army after 11th. For this eligibilty criteria is:

1. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths from recognised Board
2. Age limit:16.5-19
3. You should be medically fit and fine
AFS training Centre

But, In order to be officer you can also apply after completing your degree and can appear in NDA's(National Defence Academy) exam. It conducts twice every year.
