Hi,

There are several entries for a engineer in the army.

First of all is the entry is CDSE(Combined Defence Service Examination)-the entry in all the four academy.

~IMA-Indian Military Academy-A entry in to the army.

~OTA-Officers Training Academy-A entry in to the army.

~NA-Naval Academy-a entry in to the navy.

~AFA-Air Force Academy-a entry in to the air force.

The qualification required for the IMA and the OTA is graduation from any stream,hence you are applicable.Age limit-19 to 24 years for the IMA and the 19 to 25 years for the OTA(at the time of commencement of the course).

In army,there are special entry for the engineers.

TGC(Technical Graduate Course)-the qualification required is the engineering degree.

Age limit-20 to 27 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

SSC(Tech)-the qualification is the engineering degree.

Age limit-20 to 27 years(at the time of commencement of the course).
