Indian Army Soldier General Duty (N.E.R.) exam is conducted generally four times a year .

Eligibility criteria to to join Indian Army for the post of GD (General Duty Soldier) are as under :-

-Aspirants should be citizen of India or Nepal.

-Aspirants must have passed Matriculation or equivalent with Mathematics, English and Science.

-Aspirants age limit to apply for the exam is 16 to 21 years.

-Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam.

Physical Standards:

Height: 167 cms,

Weight: 50 kg,

Chest: 77/82 cm

Aspirants are selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam, aptitude test and Interview.

The written exam is conducted for the subject

General Intelligence

Mathematical Aptitude

General Knowledge

The exam pattern will be in the form of objective type multiple choices questions. There will be 100 questions for 100 marks and time allowed will be 45 minutes. The medium of question paper will be both in Hindi and English.

You have completed your 10th standard and now you want to join Indian Army for General duty soldier .So I tell you about the requirements for Indian Army.

You must have qualified in Matriculation examination having subjects of maths.

Age should not be less than 16 years.

You must have to appear written exam which will be on the basis of objective type .The time allowed for this exam is 45 minutes.
You have to physically fit .Your weight does not less than 50 kg & height should be minimum 162.5 cm.
