I am Graduate and done B.com, and right now my age 26 years old, kindly tell me in how many government fields can i apply? and kindly tell me the eligibility criteria and all details regarding this. Thanks

Being a B.Com. Graduate, you can apply for different Govt. job under both State and Central Govt.

Under Central Govt., you can apply for Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC to become an IAS/IPS/IFS/IRS etc. officer.

As a Commerce Graduate you can apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy.

You can apply for various job opportunities as has been notified by the Central Govt. under verious Dept.

You can apply for State Public Service Commission to join various Administrative and Police services under respective States.

For which you should be always alert to inquire various employment News and advertisement for job.

If you want to apply for government jobs I believe the best options are Bank PO or Civil Service Examination. As a B.Com graduate I don't think there are any other better option than these two.


Depending on your choice you can apply for either IAS/IPS exam or the IBPS Bank PO Exam. You are eligible to apply for both these exams. Below are the details.


Bank PO


Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts Bank PO Exam. Its an annual exam that is conducted in June. A total of 19 Public sector banks participates in the exam. What this means is that after clearing the Bank PO exam you can apply for job in these 19 Public Sector Banks in the country.



Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen.

2. A graduation degree in any stream

3. There is no percentage criteria.

4. Age limit is 20 to 30 years.

5. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

6. SC/ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

7. Person with Disability gets 10 years relaxation.




Civil Service Examination


With graduation degree you are eligible to apply for IAS/IPS exams conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. While the responsibility of IAS officer is related to implementing policies of the govt, IPS officer is given incharge of maintaining law and order.



Eligibility

1. Only Indian citizens can apply.

2. A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

3. There is no percentage criteria.


Age Limit

1. Age limit for General candidates is 21 to 30 years.

2. OBC candidates - 21 to 33 years.

3. SC/ST candidates - 21 to 35 years.

Reply- Dear as you are from Commerce back ground and fortunately Banking
sector has generating maximum vacancies for the post of clerks & Probationary
officers through IBPS this time.
The General eligibility is Graduation with 1st class, so without any detainment you can apply right now.
Besides this you may do preparation for IAS exams, civil services exams and other Railway board exams where basic eligibility criteria is Graduation degree
holder.

IBPS conducted 18 banks common entrance exam....So you can apply...........
