how many years of preparation is necessary for cracking an ias examination

Being a student of B.A in eng.(hons),is it possible to become IAS officer?

It strictly depends on you and your effort.You get passed it in initial likelihood or within the last try.Try to offer your best within the IAS test.

BA English Graduates are definitely eligible for IAS exam so you don't worry and start your preparation in full flow.

For that you must follow below things:

-Prepare well for the exam with sincerity.

-Take mock Test for IAS sample papers

-Study according to the syllabus and pattern.

-Maintain a time table for studying various subjects.

-If you are not good at studies then you can join coaching classes for preparing.

So it is totally upon you and you must try your best to clear it as soon as possible.

There are many in our country who have cleared IAS exam in their first attempt but the number is very less. You can be one of them if you have dedication and determination combined with luck to clear in first attempt.

i am a 24 year mca student.i was too lazy through out my gradutaion and P.G,but now i totally worried about my attitudes towards my life and now i have a thought to come back to my life and pass the IAS exam(i am in OBC category).it is possible for me?please give me suggestion?
