i am a girl.i am civil engineering. after this is how to join in navy

To join Indian Navy....there are many way to enter in navy ...and one of them is CDS(combined defence service) and other is SSC.procedure for exam is..


1.Apply ssc technical entry
2.their will be direct interview of 7 days of physical and personnel interview.
3.once you clear it you will be directly enter into indian navy after medical exam.

1.you are eligible for CDSE exam.
2.Buy UPSC examination form in month of september when CDSE exams are published in leading employement newspaper.
3.After having this form ,fill it properly and fill the navy section.
4.give the CDS exam ,try your best and gain more marks.
5.the result will be declare in 1-2 months after the exam.
6.go for ssb.
7.selection will be on criteria basis.
8.get selected there .
9.you should be medically fit.

How To Join Indian Navy

In order to join the Indian Navy..you can appear for the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDS) which is conducted every year by the UPSC in the months of February and September..

The last date for applying for the CDS-2 2012 was 2nd July,2012 which is already gone..

In case you haven't applied then you can try for the exam in February,2013..

The forms for the exam shall be out in the last week of October and the last date for applying for the form shall be tentatively around last week of November..

Eligibility Criterion :-

A candidate is eligible for appearing for the CDS Exam only if :-

1) The candidate has cleared her graduation or is in the final year from a recognized University..

2) The candidate must be within the age limit of 19-23 years..


Exam Pattern :-

The written exam will test you on the following grounds :-

>> Elementary Maths

>> English Language

>> General Awareness

is it importent to cleared graduation or is in the final year from a recognized University to appear for the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDS)?

To join Indian Navy the applicant must be bachelor between age of 19to 25 years and has to be a graduate from a recognized university or college. And the percentage of marks must be minimum of 55%.
Minimum height -157 cms with correlated weight .
the minimum acceptable vision for distant vision should be :
6/24
*6/24(correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses)
should no be colour blind.
