Hello Sir,
I am Ajay Boro. I'm really interested to join in Indian Navy. I've have completed 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering course with 2nd division securing 58.58% from a Government Institution. My age is now 30 years. My height is 162 cms. I am eligible to join Indian Navy?

I am really very sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Indian Navy when take your Educational qualification and Age criteria into the consideration.

More over you have crossed the age limits required for Indian Navy. For other information regarding the Job opportunities available for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Navy.

In fact there are two options to join in Indian Navy

* NDA :

-- Only candidates completes 12th with MPC from the recognized university

-- Age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years

* CDS :

-- You should complete the graduation from the recognized University.

-- Age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

No, you are not eligible for Indian Navy exam through NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

You are over aged for any defence service.Even if you would have a masters degree then also the maximum age allowed for Defence service is 27 at most and that also for mostly teaching purpose at academy.Your age is over the limit for entry into Navy or Air force or Army.With your qualification the maximum age allowed is 20-21years.
