There are basically three modes of entry into Indian Army after completion of higher secondary education:

National Defense Academy: If you are willing to join Indian Army as an Officer, you may join National Defense Academy by qualifying NDA Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. To be eligible for this examination, one need to have qualified +2 level of examination in any stream and be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years.

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme: To join Indian Army through this mode, one must have qualified +2 level of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have scored a minimum of 70% in aggregate. The minimum eligible age to apply for this mode of entry is 16.5 years and the maximum age limit is 19.5 years.

Soldier: To join as an Soldier in the technical department, candidate must have qualified +2 level of examination in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject and in order to join as an Soldier Clerk, one must have qualified +2 level of examination in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subjects. The age limit to apply as an soldier is between 17.5-23 years.

It doesn't matter how much marks you have obtained in 10th or 12th standard.

To join Indian Army you have must passed in 12th with the subjects of Physics,Maths & Chemistry.

After completion of 12th you have to appear NDA (National Defense Academy) exam for joining Indian Army.

Age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

You must be physically fit.

Eye should be 6/6 or 6/9 version.

There are no any percentage required for joining Indian Army.You must have passed 12th from any recognized board having subjects of physics & maths.

After completed 12th you have to appear entrance exam NDA. NDA stands for National defense academy.

There are three wings of Indian Army:-
Indian Air Force
Indian Navy
Indian Army

Age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Height should be minimum 165 cm.

Eyesight must be 6/6 without wearing sunglasses.

Exam Pattern:-Written test
Medical Test
Final selection on the basis of Interview.

Admission to Indian Army is not an easy thing. Students should undergo the below selection process

After that there is physical test as well.

Minimum qualification is 12th class. No percentage criteria - in the sense just pass in 12th class is okay.

Age should be 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be unmarried if you want to join Army. Moreover girls are not eligible to join Army.

So, nothing to worry about percentage of marks. If you did your 12th class, you apply for NDA Exam. It is the Entrance Exam for Army.

It is organized by UPSC two times in a year.

NDA is considered as one of the prestigious exam in the country, As we know that every exam has certain criteria that has to be fulfilled by the candidates and NDA also has these criteria. You have to fill the below mentioned criteria :-

Exam conducted twice in a year by UPSC.
All Indian candidate who are unmarried.
12th passed or appearing in any stream (science for Navy and Air force)
Physically and medically fit.
Age limit 16.5-19 years
only male candidates are eligible to apply

In your case you are not fulfilling the criteria of age so you are not eligible for the exam.

Marks are doesn't matter how much marks you obtained in 10th on 12th standard. After completion of 12th with physics, chemistry and math subjects, you can appear NDA( National Defense Academy exam foe joining Indian Army.

10th class 43% can I join Indian army

Educational qualifications required:
The minimum qualification for Soldier General Duty post is a Class 10 degree with an aggregate score of 45 per cent and at least 33 per cent marks in each subject. For Gorkha candidates, a Class 10 degree is enough to participate in the rally
The minimum educational qualification for Soldier Clerk/Store keeper technical post is 60 per cent marks in aggregate in Class 12 with at least 50 per cent marks in each subject
