***You need have at least 50% marks in 12th to get into Bachelors degree course in Automobile Engineering. However it depends on the entrance exam through you get into the course.

To pursue B.E. Automobile Engineering course, students must be 10+2 pass with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics from recognized Board examination.

For some top prestigious institutes like NITs, IITs or BITS the minimum percentage criteria required is 60%.
