how much marks should i get to qualify in gate

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The cut off marks of GATE examination changes every year and it is not fixed.

But if we see previous year marks, we can analyze that cut off marks required for qualifying in GATE exam is between 25-35 marks. For OBC candidates and SC/ST candidates, it is 5-6 marks less.

GATE is of 100 marks and if you manage to score more than 40 marks, you will easily qualify in any stream.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and the examination conducted by IIT or IISc.

The qualifying marks for different stream is different. So kindly give us detail about your stream to get the cut off marks.

The cut off score for 2015 is about 25 marks for most of the stream where as for Mechanical stream it is 32 for general category.

If you want to qualify GATE you need to get min 40% of marks.

Also cut off marks is depends on which class you belongs to, General, OBC or SC/ST.
