Re: How much percentage is required for IIM?
The eligibility to get the admission into the IIMs is that the candidate should have passed a minimum of 3 years of graduation from any discipline but from a recognized university.
He/she should have scored a minimum of 50% of the marks in the graduation . However there is the relaxation of 5% of the marks for the SC/ST candidates that is they have to get a minimum of 45% of the marks in their graduation. The admission into the IIMs is based on the percentile score of the CAT exam , GD and then PI. To apply for the CAT exam you have to follow the above eligibility criteria. So friend , let me tell you that you can't get into the IIMs immediately after passing the 12th board exam. After passing the 12th , then you have to do the minimum 3 years of the graduation and then you become eligible to apply for the CAT exam and based on the performance of yours in the CAT exam , then you can get a chance to get the admission into the IIMs. Hope this cleared your queries. Best of luck for the future. |

Re: How much percentage is required for IIM?
Hi
Your question is not clear. Are you asking percentage in 10th, 12th and graduation.? If so.. Then you should have atleast 50% in your graduation (45% in case of SC/ST) from UGC recognized college/institute without any live backlog Nothing has been mentioned about 10th and 12th percentage. The more it is, better it would be. If you were asking about the percentile in CAT exam to get into IIMs, then You need to have atleast 98+ percentile in order to get call for GD and PI from different IIMs. The older the IIM, more is the percentile required. All the best |

Re: How much percentage is required for IIM?
Hello Friend,
Admission procedure in IIM There are two steps follow for the admission in IIM for MBA In the first step candidates are shortlisted for personal interviews from among candidates who have a valid CAT/GMAT score* who have applied for the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria. An overseas category candidate who applied with the GMAT score instead of CAT score should have a total scaled score of at least 700. Shortlisting criterion 70% weightage is given to the CAT/GMAT score and 30% weightage is given to the application rating score If your all academic classes you must have over than 70% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation then you may get admission in MBA person seeking admission in IIM one needs to complete graduation in any field with at least 50 % marks for Generals and for SC/ST it is 45 % marks that is needed. After satisfying eligibility criteria candidate needs to sit for an entrance exam and the entrance name is CAT. Appearing for CAT exam make your chance more possible and not only that you have to score good percentile too ( above 90 ), then you will be able to get admission in any IIM's college .
