The Master of Computer Application [MCA] is a three years post graduate program. Candidate who have completed the Bachelors Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject or with Mathematics at the +2 level of examination, from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, are eligible for the program. However, various Universities gives exemption from having Mathematics at the +2 level, for such candidate who have pursued and passed the Bachelor of Computer Application [BCA] or related Degree programs with a minimum aggregate.

Various recognized Universities and Institutes also considers the past academic record while giving admission to the MCA program. Hence, one must also have scored consistently in the Xth and XIIth Examinations, in order to get into any of the recognized University.

Admission is through entrance examinations, conducted on various levels including National and State level as well as by individual Universities and Institutes.

Hence, for detail information, one must run through some of the official websites of the Universities and Institutes which offers MCA program.
