Today competition is very high. Therefore it is better to have MCA degree with good academic results. Most of the jobs prefer candidates with at least 50% marks. In case of MNC, the cut off percentage required may vary between 60% and 70% marks. Eligibility requirements can be collected from the job advertisement issued by the concerned authority.

Information on MCA - Masters in Computer Application


This is one of the top course under the Computer Career for all those you wish to take up this line. Its a post graduation course though, but a BCA+MCA candidate is considered at par or greater than the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering.

If you wish to take up this course, its a 3 years full time/part time post graduation course which is available for the students. There are a few basic Eligibility Criteria which has to be fulfilled in a minimum to take up this course :-

1. You should be a minimum graduate from a recognized college or university. You should have scored over 55% aggregate to get admission in some good colleges.
2. You must have studied Mathematics as a subject in the HS or in your graduation.

AIMCET - All India MCA Common Entrance Test is the test that you have to take up. The forms are out by the March and the last dates are in the late April. So you have to wait till the next year. Then the admit cards are obtained by May and the Exam is held in the month of June.

The pattern of the exam is :-

1. Mathematics – 100 Questions
2. Computer Awareness – 40 Questions
3. Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning – 40 Questions
4. General Awareness –20 Question

So you have to do your best in them and then clear the minimum cut off to take this course up. Based on your performance they would call you for admission in the top colleges.

hello friend generally 60% marks is necessary in graduation for MCA
Eligibility :
1. For mca you must either complete bba, bca, b.tech and also science or computer graduation courses
2. There is no age limit for mca
3. You must have studied science subjects in 10+2
4. You must appear for a common entrance exam for mca
5. You must have minimum 60% marks in graduation for mca

3. Engineering
4. Hardware Technology
5. Internet
6. Software Development Networking
7. System Management
8. Trouble Shooting
