Qualifying marks for GATE and CAT exam are not fixed for every year. it depends upon the toughness of question paper of that particular year and gate qualifying marks also vary with branch, for example last year ECE gate qualifying mark was 25 and this year it should be approximately 23 or 24.

the qualifying marks are generally not fixed. it variates every year. for GATE it varies between 22-26 every year. as for CAT it is based on a percentile. a percentile between 45-50 would help you above the qualification mark

cut off in gate is depend on particular branch for example in ec last year it was 26 but for getting iit you must score at least 50 marks.

The qualifying marks in GATE are not fixed in every year.It's based on the qstn paper.The qualifying marks in GATE is near around 22 to 25.
For CAT you have to score avobe 45 to 50 percentile.

Every year the Cut off marks changes. The cut offs are done differently as the per the category
For SC/ST the cut off is 17.5 marks
For OBC the cut off is 22.5 marks
For general category the Cut off is 25 marks

For CAT entrance there is no cut off fixed every college calls student according to their own criteria.
Minimum 80 Percentile should be scored to get a call from any college.
