CAT stands for Common admission test and this examination is conducted by IIM's every year. This examination is conducted once in a year and the notification is published in the month of July every year, the examination is conducted in October/November.

So, you can apply for this examination only 1 time in a year. If you missed the chance once then you have to wait for 1 year.

Actually this examination is only for those candidates who are interested to Take admission in top Business schools like IIM's and Many more.

Firstly you have to scored good percentile in CAT Examination and if you scored good percentile then you will be called for Group discussion and Personal Interview for final selection.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test.This test is conducted for admission in IIMs and there are many other management institutes also who accept CAT score for admission.
There are 13 IIMs in India at present and they are considered to be the top management institutes of India.
CAT is conducted in the month of October-November.
Now,it is conducted in online mode only.
So,to appear in CAT,you need to register for it.

The questions asked in CAT are from following questions:-
1.Verbal Ability.
2.Quantitative Aptitutde.
3.Logical Reasoning.
4.Data Interpretation.
5.English Comprehension.

There are many other tests which are conducted for admission in MBA courses like XAT,ATMA,SNAP,etc.

The top ten Management Institutes in India are:-
1.IIM Ahmedabad.
2.IIM Bangalore.
3.IIM Luchnow.
4.IIM Kolkata.
5.FMS,Delhi.

CAt stands for the Common Admission Test

CAT is conducted by every year by one of the IIM's based on the policy of rotation.

CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIM's ,
IIT's,IISc's, NIT's, FMS's etc

CAt is normally conducted every year during a 21 day testing window in the month of October or November .

A candidate can appear for CAT only once during the 20 day testing window .
