Re: How to prepare for GATE from 1st year CSE?
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering and the examination is conducted by the IIT Kanpur. The entrance examination is conducted to get admission in the IIT and NIT across India according to the score/ranks. GATE score are valid for three years. The examination is conducted only in online mode.
The eligibility criteria for the examination is :- * Candidates must have completed the B.tech degree from any recognized university. * There is no specific aggregate or age required for the examination. * There is also no limitations on number of attempts. So as you are in 1st year from CSE stream them you have three more till your graduation. Generally the paper of the examination cover the topic of four years of graduation. So from now you can keep revising the topics regularly. There are also questions of Reasoning Ability, Mathematics ( elementary) and General Ability. So you can give proper time for these also. You will definitely get the success in your first attempt and if you do not want to take your studies higher the GATE score will also help in getting the jobs in PSU firm. |
