how and where do i prepare best for uppsc food inspector exam and when the exam is going to be get conducted?i also want to know if there is any coaching & books name with the publisher's name for the same.please also can u tell me how to make preparation for the IFS & ASST.COMMANDANT of upsc exam & what are the criteria for the same, plus what are all the jobs i get offered through the upsc exam.

where you can find what to do before , during and after the examination and also along with syllabus and pattern of the exam.

visiting the site www.uppsc.org.in will be hlpful to you .

i will recommend you " R. K. publications " and " upkaar publications " as they are among the best one's in quantity and quality of Q/A.

as the test is of objective type so you also must have to manage you time to the best so as to get good results .

there will be two papers :
Paper - I General Studies 150 Marks 01 Hours
Paper - II Main Subjects 250 Marks 02 Hours

so just focus on studies and emphasize mostly on the topics which are your strongest since you can't afford to lose the question of which concept is known by you .

You should be in between 21 to 35 years.There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates in age limit as per government rules.
Minimum educational requirement for this exam is on the basis of posts.
Application are submitted to Secretary, (Deptt No.A-2/E-1/2010) Public Service Commission, UP, 10, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Allahabad-211018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 - 34800 Grade Pay 4200,

The UPPSC exam is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

You can prepare for this exam from GK publication books, Upkar's UPSC solution books.

Refer to online study materials for the exam from the official site of UPSC:

There are general studies along with nutrition, food chemistry etc. from which objective type questions are asked.

After the written test, selected candidates are called for personal interview and final selection is done.

iam a serious condidate of food inspector but i became very disappoint from uppsc deceason that exam of food inspector which was 24july2011 cancil. i request to uppsc please not cancilled properly................................with regard durga p tiwari (applicant)
