Always follow standard books for GATE. Try to cover complete syllabus. If not possible expertise in what ever portion of syllabus you practice. Try preparing notes after reading every chapter/topic. This may initially take some time but will help you while revising before paper.Best way to prepare is to follow cycle Learn, Test, Analyze, Improve, Learn, Test, Analyze, Improve …… GATE is completely objective question based test. Most of time solving objective questions is tricky... Group study is one of the best ways of preparation. Divide sections/topics between you and your partner and have a brief session on topic from your friend before you actually start topic. This will save your time and efforts and will improve your and your partner’s understanding on the topic.
Each and every concept should be very clear in your mind and you should be able to find the strategies to solve 3hr question paper. Aim for IITs or some of the NITs.. |

dear friend,
GATE is an entrance exam for M.tech course.. Which is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly every year.. As you are from electrical branch then you have to be strong in your core subjects..To crack the exam you must have good technical knowledge.. You have to clear your doubts regarding your technical subjects... You can also solve previous year questions to get an idea about the question type.. So, study the core subjects throughly.. Make a strong base.. Beside taking preparation in technical subjects you have to be well in solving aptitude questions... Because aptitude questions are also there.. It will be better for you to take some coaching classes.. They will prepare you for the GATE exam..They take regular mock tests , by which you get the confidence.. Also they provide study material, through which you will clear all your doubts.. So, go for it.. All the best.. |
