hello,i'm anindita a 4th year student of BIO MEDICAL ENGINEERING.
can u plz give me some tips how to get prepare for gate????how can i collect previous year question papers??

If you are in 4th year now,its little bit late for your preparation but still i can say that you can do it.

prepare well the basics and fundas of the theory and the application part.

You can refer the following books:

GK publishers
R.K. Sinodia publishers.
Satya prakashans.

Take mock exams by yourself based on the online test and you can improve a lot.

For gate you must prepare your core subjects of BIO MEDICAL ENGINEERING
and also prepare aptitude.

Solve preavious year papers for building confidence you can also join test series so that you can evaluate yourself before exam.

. for preparing gate you have to strong with basics. you can get questions from www.gateforum.com with answer keys. it can be easily downloadable

The only best suggestion from me for doing well in GATE is..
Acquire as much as subject you can & practice it to your best.

As far as previous Question papers is concerned, you can find it in generic Materials of GATE

GATE needs continous and consistent preparation.........it needs more and more practice...so try for the GATE daily and work hard

In GATE exams, you will find completely objective type questions., So please prepare for this exams very well and if you face problem to study this exam, then please prepare for this exams in group. If you have prepare for this exams in group, then your syllabus will cover fastly. So try to complete your syllabus on time, only then you will get sucess in GATE examination.

You have to read other book which is in syllabus of your GATE..

I given GATE 2011 in this year and unfortunately all the question were just new fro last ten years exam paper..

GATE is an very important exam to continue your further studies with masters degree.

so you have to prepare yourself very hard to get in the top....

because a huge competition is there so the best thing is to join a institute which
trains student to crack GATE...

but again coaching is not everything...

you have to do a lot of self study because everyone in the coaching center are getting
the same resources and same study materials like you......

To do well in GATE, you should try to grasp the subject clearly and understand it well. You should practice and try your best. Group discussions may also prove useful.

You will get practice materials on topics like Chemistry, Computer Science, Architecture, and different categories of engineering.

you have to strong in fundamentals and basics of all your subjects. my suggestion is please go through latest previous five question papers. it is sufficient for you. during exam there will be negative marking so dont answer the question you dont know. all the best

Here i am providing some of the guidelines which will be helpful for you to prepare for GATE exam.

-Make a time table of yourself of what subjects to study and when to study them.

-Give priority to the subjects and try to complete the subjects which you feel easy first.

-First try to complete all the fundamental aspects and basics.

-Go through previous year papers of GATE exam. There is every chance that the same questions may be repeated.

-Purchase some GATE questions and answers books from the market. Soon after the completion of a particular topic, go through that book.

-Don't try to start your preparation with e-learning or learning through soft copies because there is every chance that you may deviate from your studies.

2> Offline

If you take online test then you should have following criteria

you should have one of this branch

2>GG
3>TF
4>AE

5>AG
