In order to pursue Master of Business Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), one must hold a bachelors degree awarded by a recognized university.
The minimum percentage of marks to be scored in the same is 50% for candidates belonging to general category and 45% for candidates belonging to reserved category.
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above need to qualify OPENMAT, an entrance examination conducted by the University itself.
Candidates qualifying any of the following entrance examination do not need to appear for OPENMAT:

• Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
• Common Admission Test (CAT)
• Common Entrance Test conducted on state level or national level.

You are Teacher of Mathematics and Economics Subject . Now you would like to study for MBA course through IGNOU.So don't worry.

If you are graduate persons then you can definitely applicable for MBA course through IGNOU .

To get admission in MBA course from IGNOU, You have to passed in your graduation with minimum 50% Marks. And you have to clear the OPEN MAT examination which was conducted by IGNOU.

After Clear the OPENMAT examination, you will get admission in MBA program in IGNOU.

IGNOU MBA Syllabus and Fee Structure

FEE STRUCTURE Course fee of Rs. 700/- per course is payable at the time of Admission and Re-Registration.

Examination fee is included in the course fee. It also covers the cost of study material and counseling.

Admission to MBA in IGNOU

The students who are interested to be admitted for MBA in IGNOU has to pass through an entrance test OPENMAT conducted all over the country.

Admission to MBA, Diploma in management and Post Graduate Diplomas will be done on the basis of the score obtaine in OPENMAT conducted all over India twice a year in the months of January and July.

The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and state level tests need not to appear in OPENMAT.

There is no age limit required for the Test.

♦ Eligibility Requirement :

Candidates with 50% marks in graduation for general category and 45% marks for reserved category are eligible to apply for admission.

Candidates with bachelor's degree and three years of professional degree or master's degree are also eligible to apply.

• Appplication form can be downloaded from here and sent with a draft of Rs. 550 to IGNOU at New Delhi by speed post to registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi.

i want to persue my mba in IGNOU.last time i.e in August,2012 i was not applied for OPEN MAT EXAM.what is next announcement date for this program and how can i download the application form.also,please tell me about the procesure to apply.

If anyone ants to do Distance MBA, do they need to give OPENMAT Exam as i think does exams are only for Regular Students, Pls advice..
