IPS-Indian Police Service exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should have to complete Graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

No need of percentege restrictions to apply this exam.

The candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age criteria:-

For General candidates--> 21 to 30 years,

For OBC candidates--> 21 to 33 years,

For SC/ST candidates--> 21 to 35 years.


Selection steps:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination.

general-21 to 30 yrs.
sc/st- 21 to 35 yrs.
obc- 21 to 33 yrs.
