B.A stands for Bachelor of Arts. It is a three-year undergraduate degree course in the field of Arts. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue B.A course.

Admissions in B.A. course are offered on basis of 12th standard board examination marks in most of the colleges. Some colleges/ universities conducts an entrance examination and offer admissions to merit candidates of the entrance examination. The admission process for B.A course generally starts in the first week of June and ends in the last week of June.
