BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test and it is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

To apply for this examination, you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognized board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics also you should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English.

Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

BITSAT is Online based test and it is total 3 hour duration. The test consists of four parts:

~~ Part I : Physics
~~ Part II : Chemistry
~~ Part III : (a) English Proficiency (b) Logical Reasoning
~~ Part IV : Mathematics.

1. passed in 12th with minimum of 70% in pcm.
2. appearing candidate may also apply.
examination structure:

total duration- 120 minutes.
total number of sections- 4.
section- 1.

Yes you are eligible for it so you can go ahead and apply for it. The minimum average percentage in physics , chemistry and Maths required is 75%. Also 60% in each subject. You haven't specified it but since your average percentage is so good I am assuming that you must have secured at least 60% marks in each subject.

If interested you can fill the form and send the form with the fee of Rs.1500 (Rs.1000/- for female candidates) to the Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani- 333 031.

The payment can be made By cash payment at all ICICI Bank branches through a challan, through net banking or credit card
Otherwise you can send a demand Draft with Rs. 100/- as additional charges.
The registration will start in January. And the online test will be conducted in May- June.

I want to become an IAS officer.My percentage in class 12 is 85%.I have given aieee online exam.But now I want to pursue Bsc hons from Delhi University.Please tell me wether I should opt for engineering if I get good rank in aieee or should I do Bsc hons.Also will I get NIT if my rank is below 1lakh.
