Re: IAS after graduation from Open University?
Dear friend,
You are eligible to apply for civil service exams as you have graduation degree. Degree from an open university won't be a problem. So apply for it. All the best! |

Re: IAS after graduation from Open University?
IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service
it is a civil service among the 23 listed services.. for these civil services UPSC delhi will conduct an Entrance exam called CSE(Civil service Examination.) The exam has its own examination code..and some strict rules to be followed.. The qualifications of the exam are.. -> you have to have a degree from a recognized Indian University. -> your age should be in between 21 and 30.. this is the basic eligibility criteria for the exam. As you did your degree from a Open University.. it depends on the Reputation of the University.. if the market accept it as a degree then definitely you are eligible for the CSE.. but keep age criteria in mind.. wishes.. ~aditya~ |

Re: IAS after graduation from Open University?
You can do any course as your graduation from any university...even from open university.
Because to become an IAS you should have completed your graduation first in any stream from any recognized university....that is the only educational criteria....then take a look at the following things. 1. Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years. [33 years for Sc/ST] 2. You should have good knowledge in current affairs and social issues. [Because you need to have very strong in that] So if you fulfill the above conditions, you can easily crack IAS exam. official website-- http://www.upsc.gov.in |
