IBPS- INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONAL SELECTION is an exam conducted twice a year for recruitment of P.O. and clerical jobs in 19 banks.
The eligible candidate should be a graduate from any discipline from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 30 years of age. The upper age is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST, up to 3 years for OBC. The final year graduation candidate also eligible to apply for IBPS P.O. exam. The selection is through written test and personal Interview. The written exam are all objective type questions except English paper which are from:- Reasoning General Awareness numerical Ability Computer Knowledge English Language The IBPS P.O. exam has already been completed and the result has already been declared. Structure of IBPS Specialist Officer Exam
The written examination of IBPS Specialist Officer Exam is of two-hour duration. The total number of questions for the examination is 200. There will be four sections and each individual section carries 50 questions each and is an objective type test. One mark is given for each correct answer where as ¼ marks is reduced for each wrong answer. this exam is two sections Duration of Time : 150min Questions : 250 first section : Reasoning with 50questions of 50marks English language with 50questions of 50marks Quantitative Aptitude with 50questions of 50marks General Awareness with 50questions of 50marks Computer Knowledge with 50questions of 50marks Second section : Descriptive type questions on English composition with 25 max marks attained this section of IBPS CWS exam in 60 min Descriptive type questions will be from eassay , precis , letter writing etc Quantitative aptitude : percentages profit & loss averages & ages Simple & compound interests time & work time and distance clocks & calenders Reasoning : blood relations directions series ( numbers,letters,words) analogies ( numbers , letters , words) seating arrangements cubes coding & decoding English language : sentence corrections using of verbs vocabulary sentence formation basic grammar Computer Knowledge : basic computer knowledge General awareness : sports national / international politics latest scams ministers and their departments economy records |
