LEET stands for Lateral Entry Entrance Test and this entrance examination is conducted by state universities. To get admission to second year undergraduate course you have to apply for the LEET Entrance test. This examination is for diploma holders and B. such Non medical candidates, who are interested to take admission to BE/B. Tech courses through Lateral entry entrance test.

The eligibility criteria vary from colleges to colleges, but if you have completed your diploma course & B. such course with Physics and maths as a compulsory subject in your Matriculation then you are eligible for LEET examination. You must have scored minimum 60% marks in your diploma to join Lateral entry courses.

After clear this test, you are eligible to get admission directly into second year. Admission would be made on the basis of merit in the LEET Entrance examination. The examination is objective with negative marking, the syllabus are vary from colleges to colleges. You can get the syllabus and the pattern directly from the official website.

LEET Examination is conducted by Haryana University, Punjab University, Thapar University, Himanchal University and various other colleges. The Syllabus includes, Physics, chemistry, Mathematics and Communication skill. The application form for LEET Examination is generally published in the month of April/May.

Universities/ institutions of all over India are going to conducted Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET). Students who wish to give this test may apply by submit LEET application form. Before apply it is important to have complete knowledge about its syllabus, eligibility criteria to apply and exam date.This entrance test is organized by the universities/ institutions for give admission direct in 2nd year. Qualified candidates in this exam will be able to get admission in 2nd year of professional courses.

Admit card of Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) in original
Data sheet of LEET in original
TC issued by last institution in original
Physical fitness certificate
Photographs of students
Community and Income certificate in original
Allotment memorandum in original
Bank Receipt in original

LEET is the Lateral Entry Entrance Test. It is the entrance exam conducted by different states Engineering council for diploma candidates.

This exam is given by diploma holders in different streams like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communications etc for getting entry into Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering.

If you clear the LEET exam, you will be directly admitted in second year of engineering.

The notification for LEET 2015 is not released yet. So you must wait till the end of April 2015.
