Eligibility criterion for Thapar University LEET entrance exam

• The candidates have to meet the following requirements for getting an admission into BE/B.Tech programs.
• The candidate must have passed a diploma in the relevant subject with a minimum of 3 years experience after matriculation.
• The candidate should hold a diploma in the relevant field with a minimum of two years experience after pursuing higher secondary course.  They must have pursued the course from a Polytechnic College or from any one of the institutes that are being affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education/University or recognized by the UGC /All India Council of Technical Education with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• The SC/ST candidates need to have only 55% aggregate marks.
• The candidate must have qualified the Lateral Entry entrance Test with not less than 20%marks. The SC/ST candidates should obtain a minimum of 15% marks in order to get qualified for an admission.
• The candidate should possess a good moral character.
• The applicants should of Indian origin.

Important Dates

The Thapar University Lateral Entry Entrance Test is usually held in the month of June. The candidates can collect the application forms from the second week of April to the First week of May. The filled up applications should reach the University on or before the Third week of May.
