can you give me information about net set exam ?now m pursuing M.Sc in mycology and plant pathology...

NET exams are conducting twice a year, i.e., in the months of June and December by UGC. The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September respectively in the weekly Employment News.
so you can apply for june month NET...... eligibility criteria for NET M.Sc or equivalent degree , with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D. A candidate can also apply for the Test under RA (Result Awaited) category, if he/she is appearing or has appeared in his/her final year (III/IV Semester where Semester system is there) of M.Sc. or equivalent degree examination . Such candidates will have to submit the attestation format (given at the reverse of the application form) duly certified by the Head of the Deptt./Institute over his/her signature and rubber stamp (with address and name) from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared in the final year M.SC or equivalent degree examination. However, such candidates shall be admitted to the Test provisionally. They shall only be considered eligible for JRF-(NET)/LS-(NET), if they are able to produce the proof of having passed the Master’s Degree examination in the relevant or related subject with the requisite percentage of marks and within the stipulated time frame. The Master’s degree can be either in Humanities, Social Science, Computer science, Electronic Science etc. |

NET exams are conducting twice a year by UGC generally in the months of June and December.This exam is for the people or the candidates who want to get into the research field. NET the candidate can apply for college lecturer whereas the SET students can apply for the school level teaching
Eligibility : You should have got at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree from recognized universities Prefinal year students are also eligible to apply for the exam. You should not be more than 28 years There is some relaxation given to students who belongs to reserved caste .5 years relaxation in upper age is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants. There is no age limit for lectureship. Examination Pattern There will be total three papers one is common for all and next two based on the subject which you have choosed . Paper-I :: It mainly consist of :: General awareness. Reasoning Comprehension Paper-II ::Its of objective type on a subject which you have selected . Hello friend,
For National Eligibility Test for lectureship, you must complete your masters degree program with a minimum of 55% marks. If you belong to SC/ST category, you may take the test with a minimum of 50% marks in the masters degree examination. The examination is conducted twice a year, in the month of June and December. The NET is conducted at national level and the SET is conducted at state level and the candidates who qualify SET, from a particular state,are eligible to get appointed as lecturer in universities and colleges in that particular state.
