Combined Defence Services Examination

Well after completing your Bsc in computer science you can appear for the CDS examination .CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.The examination is done in the month of May -June and September -October .You can appear for both exams in a year if you are eligible .

Since this year the examination is going to held on the September which means that you can not apply for the CDS II 2011 examination therefore you have to apply for the next year CDS I 2012 examination .The notification for the examination is over and any students who is eligible can appear for the exam.

Important dates for CDS I 2012 ::

Starting date of selling of the application form ::29.10.2011
Last date to apply for the exam ::28.11.2011
Date of written exam ::12.02.2012

Eligibility ::

I.M.A OR ARMY
Interested candidates should have got degree from a recognised University
Your age should be between 19-24 years

Indian Naval Academy :

Interested candidates should have got degree in Engineering or must have done Bsc .
Your age should be between 19-23 years

Air Force Academy :

Interested candidates should have got degree from a recognised University and you must have Physics and mathematics in class 12th .
Your should be between 19-23 years

Officers Training Academy(OTA)

Interested candidates should have got degree from a recognised University
Your age should be between 19-25 years

Pattern of the examination ::

The examination is done in three phases ::

1.Written exam
2.SSB
3.Medical examination

i get 59.2 percentage in 12th[pcm] and now i am doing bsc[pcm] 1st year....how i can join airforce or indian army plz help meee.
