Hello i am engineering graduate, completed B.E in Electronics and Communication, from VVIET MYSORE , am a fresher looking desperetly need for a job, with this low percentage with minimum per companies asking 60 minimum. please tell how can i apply, to companies, which companies willl ask ths much per. Please tell i want to land up in software industry.

there are many jobs in it fields but you should increase your personal development because you have low percentage in engineering.

hi i am ram mohan reddy completed b.tech in hits college in hyd,my percentage is 56%,plz tell me which company intersted that percentage i am fullfill in dotnet (c#,asp,wcf,ajax) my dream job is software plz tell the ways to getting job in software field. inter and ssc percentage more than 60%.

i am himanshu i am doing computer engg still last sem remaning my 7th sem percentage is 72%.till i dont have any job?

Actually A company looks for a candidate who is well capable for their offering position that is job

for that position they will check the applicants capability by their academics

this is the strategy followed by most of the companies

why i'am saying all these is because

the interviewer will have a great concern towards your academics

i.e., he will check your academics by evaluating your percentages

May be most of the HR's will look at your progress from 10th to your graduation

I guess if you have a forward exponential growth in your percentages only

you can impress the interviewer with your marks

that is for example you must have percentages in this manner

10th : 60%

12th : 70%

Degree : 65 to 70%

this will look good for the interviewer he thinks that you are a hardworker

and can achieve career progress(Simultaneously company's progress) gradually like wise your percentages

you may have most chances to get in to the jobs with progressing percentages

than the declining percentages

if you have some exceptional talents like

communication skills

language skills

exclusive subject skills

then percentages will not at all matter..

So either you should have good percentages or good talent

to get a excellent job ..

your percentage is not eligible for getting into IT giants like infosys, wipro, HCL, CTS......they require minimum of 60%

But try to get into a small company...you can make it big if u gain experience....

there is some method called "BACKDOOR"...in some IT companies...
you can get a job by paying money........

its just an investment....

As your percentage is low, campus recruitment would not help.

I suggest make a good appealing resume and upload on naukri/ monster .com

As you have electronics and telecommunication background, your software knowledge should be very good in order to convince the companies to hire you instead of a software engineer.

If you are not so updated with software, take up a specialised course from NIIT ... for example in Java or Oracle... NIIT has good placement records.

If you are good at your work and knowledge... marks dont matter.

Yes, it is true that, most of the companies in now a days wants minimum 60%
Marks throught in your career.

So, if you have scored minimum 60% marks in your career, then you are eligible to apply for All of the company. But if you fails to scored minimum 60%
Marks, then in this case you will face lots of difficulties.

But, Please dont worry, Many other company are there who wants minimum 55% marks in your graduation course, but this type of company are very less in India. But if your communication skills are good and you have good knowledge, then definitely you will be placed in top most company. Many company check the knowledge, ability, skills and communication of the person, if you are good in all these activites, then surely, you will get good jobs. But for campus placements all the colleges set minimum 60% marks, only then you are eligible to sit for campus placements.

So, please dont worry, if you have scored 58% marks, in your graduation, then you are eligible for many other companies, so i will suggest you just upload your resume in online job search websites Or apply directly for companies with the help of reference. If you have a talent, then surely you will finda good joba in future.

There are very few companies which offer jobs for graduates having percentage less than 60%.Software Companies like TCS,Infosys usually mention 60% as their cut off limit.But do not worry there are companies which offers you with a percentage of 58%.Recently a campus drive has been held in our college and Syntel mentioned that it requires Engineering graduates with or above 58%. but with no back logs.

Even Wipro recruits candidates with more than 55%.But you need to remember is its just a cut off limit hence you need to perform extremely well to land up with a job in IT Sector.Its never easy to go through all the stages with a less percentage but when companies like Syntel give a chance for the second class students then i think they have to take full advantage off that and work hard for getting selected in it.

In the days to come the demand keeps rising and the even the cut off limit increases.So, its better that you work hard now itself and try to get selected in the limited companies but never choose a small company and spoil your future.You can even do few courses in NIIT so that it will help you in the interview's.You need to do both the jobs simultaneously and in a planned manner.

i am pas out BE i 2011 and my percent in BE is only 59%.which complany they are want the agregate below 60%.please give me idea.

maximum company want 60 % through out so their is no so many company for below 50%.

some few software company allow 50% above criteria like WIPRO, SYNTEL etc.

so you are eligible for above company.

Also you are eligible for .NET and PHP company so you can contact those company.

IAS
IPS
etc...

if you are interested for some mnc's then you have to do some short term course as you have not score good mark in your degree then it will help you while getting job in companies like.
TCS
WIPRO
IBM
DELL
INFOSYS
etc.......

Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM etc. require at least 60% in 10th,12th and B. E. They also require that there should be no backlog in any subject in any semester.

For you, it will be difficult to get selected in campus with 58%. You can go for M. Tech. Otherwise you can apply in some smaller companies like HCL. There you have some chances of getting the job, and after some experience you can think of applying in TCS, Infosys.

Just improve your personality, body language, communication skills. You can learn some new languages from private coaching institutes. This will improve your profile.

i hav 58.59% in b.e. tel me abt companies

i have 58% till 6th sem in my b.e nd nw i am facing some campus placements in my college ....nd apart from that i have 56% in my 12th d 71%in my 10th .......can ny one help me out for this situation ...........tis really terrible ................

i have 49% in 10th and 66% in 12th i m in 3rd yr my cgpa is 7.00 can i get a job in IT companys

10th-85.53%;12th-77%;nd in engg (agg-58.97 ; degree-61%) ..sir b'coz of low agg in BE....i am not eligible to aoply for big mnc's like infosys;, HCL;TCS; nd many more....is there any chance for me to work with MNC's....pls tell me which mnc's allow candidates below 60% agg

I am a SOFTWARE ENGINEER in Infosys from around 1 year and in my experience most companies first of all see your 10th and12th percentage if it is less than 60 than they will reject you.Only 2or3 out of 50 companies give you job and your salary package will be around 100000rs.So I suggest you to give improvement.
