National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like >>Indian Airforce
>>Indian Navy
>>Indian Army

Eligibility criteria for NDAexam:
Education qualification:
For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy:You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream.
For Indian Army:You should have complete 12th class with any stream from recognized university.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

Every year UPSC conducts N.D.A. & N.A. examination twice.

The next N.D.A. & N.A. examination [i.e., N.D.A. & N.A. (I) 2012] shall be conducted in April 2012.

The advertisement for N.D.A. & N.A. examination shall be published on 31st December 2011.

The last date of receipt of application shall be 30th January 2012.

The advertisement for the exam is published in Employment News and in leading national dailies.

Also the advertisement is made available at http://www.upsc.gov.in/

31.12.2011 is the last date for nda exam &
eligiblity-12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Last date for Online apply :30.01.2012 (MONDAY) & application starting from 31.12.2011
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC two times a year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Army. Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The notification for NDA-I exam will be announced in 31st December2011 followed by exam on April 2012.

The last date for application to NDA will be on 30.01.2012.

Dear Friend,

The application form for the NDA-I examination of the year 2012 has not yet began to sell. The forms will be available from 31.12.2011 and the form will be available up to 30th January 2012.
The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the NDA exanination is that the candidate should has passed class 12th and the age of the candidate should between 16.5 years to 30 years.

Is the exams meant for Indian citizens alone?

The last date of 2011 NDA examinatiom has been expired.
So, you have to prepare for 2012 NDA examination whose dates are not yet declared.
You can know the exam dates from (http://www.upsc.gov.in)

going to complete my deplomo in mechanical this month so shall i go for this exam and i have one doubt
also whether NDA 11 exam is it only for candidates who has given NDA 1 exam or for all and also please tell me the date of next exam

NDA exam counduct by UPSC twice in year nda I and nda II for three wings- Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy.

Candidate must have passed 12th class with around 55% aggregate from a recognized university or college. The candidate should with Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry.

Only unmarried male candidate whose age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years are eligible.


Last date of form submission for nda II is 4th June 2012

Starting date -- 05/05/2012
Last date -- 04/06/2012
Exam date is -- 19/08/2012
