Is my 12th percentage enough to get admission in BCA course?
I had finished my 12th. My percentage is 75%. Now i have planned to pursue BCA course. Is my percentage is enough or not for this BCA course?

Percentage required to get admission in BCA course are different in different universities. Normally it is up to 60% marks. So according to your marks you don't have to worry about it.
Some universities also conducts entrance exam for this course. Thanks |

BCA is 3 years graduation course which deals with Computer study. Generally every college of different state offer this course based on 12th claas marks merit list.
Therefore to get admission into this course a high score in 12th class is required. Minimum 80% marks is enough in 12th class to get admission in this course. |

In India, Many institutes offer BCA course. Basic requirement for this course is you must have passed (10+2) with mathematics as a main subject. You have secured 75% in 12th class which is enough to get admission in BCA. Most institutes offer the BCA through entrance exam. So, You are required to appear and qualify the entrance exam for BCA admission conducted by relevant university. You can also choose any specialization of your interest and make a career in that.

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application and it is a vocational course of three year duration.
The admission in course is not offered only on aggregate in qualifying examination ( 12th ). Most of the institutes offers admission to candidates who qualifies in admission entrance test and personal interview ( in some institutes ). So, 75% in 12th board examination is sufficient to appear for entrance examination to get admission in BCA course. The basic eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 12th with PCM (in any stream for some of the institutes ) with at least 60%. 75% is a decent percentage to get admission into BCA course.
Generally, BCA institutes conduct a written test for admission to BCA courses. Some of the designated institutes even conduct a PI after written exam to judge the skills of candidates. In entrance test, basic questions pertaining to Computer History, Computer evolution, Programming languages will be asked. Here are the few notable institutes of Lucknow for BCA courses:

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a three-year undergraduate degree course in the field of Computer Applications. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue BCA course.
Most of the colleges/ universities offer admissions in BCA course on basis of merit of 12th standard or an equivalent examination marks or by conducting their own admission test/ entrance examination. Since, you have finished your 12th standard with 75% aggregate marks, you can easily get admission for pursuing BCA course. |

BCA refers to Bachelor of Computer Application and as the name suggests same is a bachelor degree course of three years with good scope in software world in this globally digital emerging era.
The minimum criteria required for pursuing the same course is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board of education. So If you have pursued Mathematics in your Class 12th then you are certainly eligible for pursuing BCA degree course having managed 75% in your Class 12th. |
